Nick Young Pretends to Be Kobe Bryant in Classic Swaggy P Interview

First-year Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young had some fun with reporters prior to Friday's matchup with the Utah Jazz by pretending to be injured superstar Kobe Bryant in a classic "Swaggy P" interview.

Lakers beat reporter Mike Trudell provides the setup, so just sit back and enjoy the craziness:

"The Mamba," Young began between winded breaths. "I slither through things, you know. We don't have bones."

Just to be clear, snakes do have bones, so let's just say Young won't become a biology teacher when his playing days come to an end.

Reporters thought they would get a chance to speak with Bryant, who is recovering from a fracture in the lateral tibial plateau of his left knee. The Black Mamba wasn't available, however, so Young decided to fill in for his new teammate.

Bryant suffered the injury in the third quarter against the Memphis Grizzlies on Dec. 17 when he hyperextended the knee and fell to the court. Despite fracturing a bone, he returned to action in the fourth quarter.

The 2013-14 season hasn't been much fun for the injury-riddled Lakers, but Young was able to make light of a bad situation by providing some laughs.

The 28-year-old entered the night averaging 16.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. The 16.5 points-per-game average leads the Lakers.
