NBA Playoffs 2012: 10 Reasons L.A. Lakers Will Come Up Short This Postseason

Even though the Los Angles Lakers are up 2-0 in their series, and Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum are playing at their best, the Lakers won't win the NBA Finals. 

The Lakers went 41-25 in the strike shortened season, good enough for the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference. Kobe had an MVP caliber performance, finishing second in the league in scoring to Kevin Durant.

Despite the success, the Lakers were far from perfect during the season, struggling against the top teams and on the road.

The Lakers come into the 2012 Playoffs in an unfamiliar role, they are the relative underdog, with the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder leading the way.
