NBA Free Agents 2012: Best Landing Spots for Big Names Still in Play

Some of the bigger fish in the pond may have been snatched up, but there are plenty of more left in the water.

Here are the best landing spots for three NBA unrestricted free agents.

Antawn Jamison

Do you remember Antawn Jamison? His name is one that seems to be forgotten in the NBA landscape.

Jamison averaged 17.2 points this past season on a putrid Cleveland Cavaliers team. He averages 19.5 points per game in his career—attractive numbers despite his age of 36.

Best Landing Spots: Lakers

Jamison is to the point of his career where he just wants to win, baby. He wants to play for a title contender.

Why not Los Angeles? Why not with the newly acquired Steve Nash?

Bryant, Nash, Jamison, Andrew Bynum, Pau Gasol and several others would give the Lakers a realistic opportunity of winning another NBA title.

Grant Hill

Grant Hill has averaged double figures all of his 17 NBA seasons. Despite his well-documented injury history, Hill has made a complete comeback.

He is now looking for that elusive NBA ring.

Best Landing Spots: Lakers, Celtics and Thunder

At age 39, Hill is looking to win a ring. He's going to go to a legitimate contender not some team who will be struggling to make the playoffs.

Hill would provide Oklahoma City, Boston and Los Angeles with experience, leadership and scoring ability.

Despite his age, Hill has plenty of ball left in him. He wants to win a ring and he will most certainly help a championship contender in 2012-13.

Derek Fisher

Maybe not a big name now, but certainly a guy who brings experience, leadership and the occasional three-point shot to the table.
