According to the Associated Press, Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Sasha Vujacic is now engaged to star tennis player, Maria Sharapova.
"We are engaged and are both really happy," Vujacic said.. "It's good and now we can focus on other things."
Sharapova's agent confirmed that both will be married soon in an e-mail to the Associated Press.
Vujacic proposed to her on their one-year anniversary, which was at a friend's barbecue.
"It was probably old school," Vujacic said. "I had to do it like a gentlemen."
The wedding hasn't been set yet.
Vujacic is coming off a 2.8 points and 1.2 rebounds per game season.
