Los Angeles Lakers Lose to Bobcats: When Will the Team Have Consistent Success?

Once again, the Los Angeles Lakers have lost to the Charlotte Bobcats. The two-time defending National Champions are having trouble with consistency losing five out of their last ten games.

The Lakers need to accept the team that they have and start playing some basketball. Just because all of the other big teams in the league (Orlando, Chicago, Miami..etc) have had some blockbuster deals, does not mean they need one.

The Lakers need to forget about Carmelo Anthony, because they are not going to land him in a trade.

There was nothing wrong with last year's team or the team the year before that. In case the Lakers forgot, they have won the NBA Championship two years in a row—meaning they are the team to beat.

The Lakers need to start playing as a team, forget about the buzz going on in the league, and they need to start playing the type of basketball that they have been playing the past two years.

As soon as the Los Angeles Lakers can do this, they can be the top team in the league once again. It's not like they are the worst team in the league, especially after being ranked No. 5 in ESPN's latest NBA Power Rankings.

They are still one of the best teams, if not the best team in the NBA, and they need to start playing like that.

Pao Gasol, Ron Artest, Derek Fisher, Andrew Bynum, and Kobe Bryant sounds like a good team to me, not to mention all of the depth they have on the bench. That is all the players the Lakers need.
