Los Angeles Lakers Look For Revenge Against Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies will try and make it three straight against the Los Angeles Lakers this season, when the two teams face off at Memphis tonight. Los Angeles won the first meeting between these two teams 124-105, but have lost the last two, including 104-85 loss at home back on Jan. 2.

Taking a look at the NBA spreads for tonight's game, oddsmakers have the Lakers favored by four-points with the total set at 195.5.

Los Angeles opened up their seven-game road trip with an impressive 101-95 win over the New Orleans Hornets on Saturday, but are just 2-3 in their last five games.

Memphis fell 95-93 in overtime at Houston on Saturday, but have been very good at home of late, winning eight of their last nine.

The Lakers got a monster performance from Pau Gasol against the Hornets, as the big man had 34 points and 10 rebounds. Gasol went 13-17 from the field, and have to hope he continues his aggressive offensive approach the rest of the season. Gasol had topped 20 points just once in his previous four games.

Kobe Bryant also  had a big game offensively with 32 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. Bryant is averaging 31.8 over his last five games, and with the lack of help he has received from the rest of his team, I wouldn't be surprised to see him continue to average right around 30 per game.

Lamar Odom had been one of the few players Bryant could count on to help out on the offensive side of the ball, but he is averaging just 12.8 over his last five games. The Lakers will likely need Odom to step it up tonight, with the struggles they have had against the Grizzlies in their last two games.

Memphis is really playing some solid basketball right now, but can't be happy with their performance against the Rockets, as they blew a 14-point lead to end their five-game winning streak.

Zach Randolph was impressive in the loss, scoring 22 points and gr...
