Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson just won’t get off his former team’s back. He’s at it again after the Lake Show dropped a Thursday night matchup against rival Boston in blowout fashion.
"Not sure if I was embarrassed for this Lakers team or embarrassed to be a former Laker, because of how they played against our rivals the Celtics last night,” Johnson said, according to TMZ.com.
Magic wasn't done there, either. He took to Twitter and congratulated Lakers rival Kevin Garnett.

Los Angeles, of course, has been playing without big men Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard. Both are nursing injuries and have been banged up for much of the season, but Howard was back on the court for L.A.
It didn’t matter.
Injuries struck at an inopportune time, too, as the Lakers were beginning to turn it around. They had won six of their past seven games prior to Thursday's 116-95 spanking at the TD Garden.
One thing is certain in all of this: Johnson’s criticism is not only not helping, it’s a little over the top and not a reflection of what’s happening on the court.
Johnson has been overly critical of his former team at every turn this season. He smashed the organization for failing to hire Phil Jackson as the new head coach after firing Mike Brown.
He has also voiced his opinion multiple times this season about the poor play of the team.
Before any of this, though, Johnson took to the airwaves and foreshadowed the demise of Brown in Los Angeles. He predicted the coach would be out of a job if the team lost its Game 7 matchup against the Denver Nuggets last postseason.
Johnson went on to predict Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol would follow Brown out of town.
