Kobe Bryant PSA Video: Watch Lakers Star Speak out Against Discrimination

Kobe Bryant PSA video has finally hit the Internet, and if you've been following this story, you don't really need an explanation for why he's doing this.

But if you do need a refresher, here you go.

During a game against the San Antonio Spurs, Bryant was called for a technical foul and while going to the bench and the TV cameras caught Kobe yelling a gay slur at the official. Naturally, that's a big no-no. There was a lot of backlash—Bryant immediately apologized and has tried to make amends since.

While it was a highly regrettable incident, it's a learning and teaching moment for everyone, not just Bryant.

It's good to see him be so proactive about the matter and to even get his teammates involved in this PSA. This doesn't excuse what he said, and no one has to necessarily forgive him if they don't want to, but for all of his faults through the years, at least Kobe's trying to make amends for this and not just trying to talk his way out of it.

Actions speak louder than words, and since the incident, Bryant has looked like a man that was truly sorry and wants to make sure that other people learn from his mistakes. Some people may say I'm naive for that, but I try to see the good in people and be optimistic about it.

Kobe has a lot of influence, and it's good to see him take a stand after doing something he never should have done in the first place.

Hopefully this isn't the last we see of Bryant championing this cause.
