The Los Angeles Lakers received the No. 2 pick of the 2015 NBA draft in Tuesday night's lottery and avoided losing their selection to the Philadelphia 76ers.

As part of a deal with the Sixers at this year's trade deadline, the Lakers would have had to hand over their pick to Philadelphia if it fell outside of the top five. Luckily, the Lakers, who finished 21-61 this season, will have a shot at grabbing one of the top prospects in this year's draft to play alongside Kobe Bryant.
