ENOUGH.
Howard should commit to a destination or tell the world what he really wants. Everyone is getting sick of listening to rumors and articles about where he is going or where he is thinking of going or why he's staying in Orlando.
Los Angeles seems like the perfect destination for Howard, who wants to play on a winning team in a winning city. Playing in Los Angeles, in a Lakers' uniform, he would struggle to find another situation better.
But his agent still says that Howard will explore free agency rather than sign an extension with the Lakers if traded, according to Ric Bucher of ESPN The Magazine.
"Dwight's position has remained unchanged since the end of this past season," said Dan Fegan of LaGardere Unlimited. "He fully intends to explore free agency at the end of next season, regardless of what team trades for him, including Brooklyn."
Including Brooklyn is the key part there.
Why? Where does he want to go? What is really going on here?
It's simple. Dwight Howard wants more of the spotlight. He has grabbed the free agency/trade rumors headlines since LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh united in Miami, but he wants to push his headlines even further than that.
Howard is willing to take this all the way until 2013 NBA Free Agency no matter if Los Angeles or Brooklyn trades for him. He wants to have what James had, minus "The Decision".
What a joke.
Howard should commit to the Lakers, a team that has a great chance to win a championship with Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Antawn Jamison and Pau Gasol.
Los Angeles has the talent and the city is full of spotlight—something of which Howard is obviously looking for....
