8 Things the Lakers Did and Didn’t Change vs. Miami

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered another painful loss on Thursday, falling 99-90 to the Miami Heat. With the loss, the Lakers fell to 17-22, 12-10 at home.

Now five games under .500, the Lakers can't afford many more losses if they want to keep up with the likes of Utah, Portland, Houston and Minnesota in the hunt for a playoff berth. 

The Lakers needed a big statement win against one of the best teams in the NBA on Thursday. But even though they fell 99-90 to the Heat, a lot was learned from their valiant effort.

Los Angeles made some positive changes against the Heat but failed to correct some of their bad habits.
