The goal was Doughty's first of the series, and his third of the postseason. No assists were credited on the play.
After being a holdout this summer, Doughty had a mild regular season, racking up just 36 points. However, he has turned up his level of play since entering the playoffs.
Doughty currently has 12 points in 16 games, is a plus-13 and has been a major difference maker for the Los Angeles back six. His offensive contribution and quick puck movement is a major reason why the young London, Ontario native was offered a lucrative eight-year, $56 million contract this last summer.
