The most memorable was raising their 2011-12 Stanley Cup championship banner before their season opener on January 19 at the Staples Center.
A 5-2 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks followed the ceremony, and their season would end in similar fashion as the Blackhawks got the best of the Kings in the Western Conference Final.
As for the individuals on the team, some reached milestones and others made highlight-reel plays that won't be forgotten for years.
