Total Pro Sports spotted this video featured over at the team’s online video channel, KingsVision, and we are glad it did.
This video is a primer on what goes down at an Ice Girl audition. There is plenty of skating, skating while shoveling and, it seems, skating then falling.
The Stanley Cup continues to make its way through LaLa Land, and there is no shortage of people who want to get in on all the fun, including those overzealous females.
The final part of the video features a woman who admits to not being a strong skater. I imagine she will need to hit the ice a bit more before being considered.
Anyone who has ever seen a game live will no doubt remark on the Ice Girls for, of course, their beauty, but also for how much work they do.
They hit the ice during breaks in the game and swiftly shovel the ice. There is no room for anyone who is a mediocre skater.
These women need to be skilled, and those who aren't are scooped away like shaved ice.
At least they provided some hilarious moments. I can empathize with the fallen ladies. The moment I put skates on I guarantee a grand failure.
