Predicting Los Angeles Kings’ Best Player at Each Position in 5 Years

It's already been two years since the Los Angeles Kings won their first Stanley Cup and five years since the Pittsburgh Penguins and Detroit Red Wings battled for a championship for a second consecutive year. 

The next few years in the NHL will fly by, especially since it should be free of lockouts.

For the Kings, much of their team could remain intact, as a number of core players are signed through 2018-19.

The question is, will their top players today still be the best then or will a younger wave step in and take spots on the top lines usually reserved for players like Dustin Brown, Justin Williams and Jeff Carter?

This is a look at who the best player will be at each position for the Kings in five years. Some of the predictions will be obvious, whereas others may surprise you.
