The former Kings' star was on hand to watch his beloved team clinch their first Stanley Cup as the team's president of business operations.
This is where our sad tale leaves Robitaille the real man, because we pick up with his likeness as a tattoo.
Yes, a picture has surfaced of a woman who believed it would be a good idea to get a tattoo of the Kings legend on her armpit.
What's more, she is allowing the little avatar to get quite the playoff beard. Funny, I never knew he was a redhead.
Gross.
The picture comes from Instagram user Rymalia who states, "Met this woman with a Luc Robitaille armpit tattoo, she grew him a playoff beard."
I am not sure what's more disturbing, the hair or the tattoo that is B-quality at best. It looks like a Beavis and Butthead version of Robitaille, and I am not amused.
We have covered some pretty awful fan failures in our day. The hairstylings of Kobe Bryant and Tony Parker fans come to mind.
However, those things grow out.
While this is the latest, it is hardly the greatest. I still give the No. 1 most awful tattoo idea award to this man that decided to get an ESPN emblazoned next to his eye.
In fact, I say the two get together and make sweet tattoo mistakes together.
