Kings vs. Canadiens Live Updates and Analysis

After being on the road for over a week, it's understandable that the L.A. Kings might be somewhat fatigued, which could therefore affect their performance on the ice.

The Kings have lost two consecutive games after starting off their road trip 2-0 and have two more road games to get back on track before heading home.

"We've lost two games in a row so it's not where we want to be at," Kings forward Tyler Toffoli said, per STATS LLC (via ESPN.com). "We want to be winning games and digging deep and finding a way to come back if we're down. These last two games are a little bit of a wake-up call for us."

This is sure to be a battle of two of the NHL's best—and two teams that desperately want to get back into the win column.

After one period of action, the Kings and Canadiens remain tied 0-0, despite a healthy 15-7 shot advantage from Montreal.

Both Jonathan Quick and Mike Condon have been sharp early, which points to this turning into a low-scoring affair.

After a scoreless first period, the Kings broke through for two second period goals to take a 2-0 lead at the second break.

Drew Doughty and Anze Kopitar each snuck one by Mike Condon, who had been excellent until that point.

Jonathan Quick has dominated this game for the Kings so far, recording 3...
